Stockyards Trinity River Excursion 2023

All aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad!

The Stockyards Trinity River Excursion is a 45-minute train excursion that departs from the Historic Stockyards Station in Fort Worth. The excursion travels south out of the Stockyards through Fort Worth, crossing the West Fork of the Trinity River, passing Montgomery Plaza, through Trinity Park and then reserves back to the Stockyards. Several stops will be made as the train exits and returns to the Stockyards, as our crews must make manual track changes to get the train on the right track.

Trinity River Excursions Schedule

Season Opener: Saturday, February 17, 2024

February through March
Saturdays only, including March 10, 11 and 17

April through November
Most Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year

Boarding: 2:45 p.m.
Train doors close: 2:55 p.m.
Departs Historic Stockyards Station: 3 p.m. 
Arrives Historic Stockyards Station: 3:45 p.m. 

Pricing:

First Class:  $12
Coaches are climate-controlled with embroidered upholstered seats.

Touring Class:  $11
Coaches have floor-to-ceiling windows with padded bench-style seats and are climate-controlled for year-round comfort.

Economy Class: $10
Coaches are open air in the warmer months and enclosed and heated during the colder months with wooden bench-style seats and floor-to-ceiling views. - NO AIR-CONDITIONING - This coach is currently open-air for the warmer months.

Please note that coaches and seats are assigned in advance. If you have a group (with separate reservations) that wishes to be seated together, please call us at 817.410.3185 at least 24 hours in advance.

Passengers 13 months and older must purchase a ticket. Tickets are non-refundable.

This excursion does not travel to Grapevine.

Saturday and Sunday parking rates are $15 per vehicle. Special events can affect parking rates. Grapevine Vintage Railroad has no control over the parking and will not validate or refund parking fees.
