Step back in time this holiday season aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad! Experience the magic of Christmas on a nostalgic one-hour journey through the scenic Trinity River countryside. Settle into beautifully decorated 1970s railcars pulled by an authentic 1957 FL9 diesel locomotive. Enjoy timeless Christmas music filling the air as you ride, and don’t hesitate to join in a festive sing-along of classic carols.

Departure Schedule:

• Wednesdays: 3:00 p.m.


• Fridays: 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.


• Saturdays & Sundays: 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on all Grapevine Vintage Railroad excursions. Tickets are required for all passengers who have celebrated their first birthday.

Check-in Information

Check in at least 30 minutes before your reserved ticketed time (departure time). Train doors close 10 minutes prior to departure. We cannot hold trains for late arrivals and passengers will not be allowed to board after doors are closed. Missed trains will not be refunded. Please give yourself extra time to park and get to the Stockyards Station (no shuttle service available).

Saturday and Sunday parking rates are $20 per vehicle. Special events can affect parking rates. Grapevine Vintage Railroad has no control over the parking and will not validate or refund parking fees.
