Join us at Grapevine Animal Services for a bilingual (Spanish/English) version of our PAWS (Promoting Animal Welfare and Safety) by Reading program!  Come see our new animal shelter and enjoy learning about responsible pet ownership and compassion for animals with your family.


Children 10 and under will have the opportunity to attend story time at the shelter.  Our shelter staff will welcome children and read two stories about the connection between animals and people.  Following story time, there will be a craft and a snack.


Sign up is required due to limited space.  To help allow as many children to attend as possible, we kindly ask that there is only one adult chaperone per family; children should not be left unattended.  The event is free of charge.  If you wish to bring a donated item for our animals, you can check out our Wish List.

Acompáñenos en Grapevine Animal Services para disfrutar de una versión bilingüe (español/inglés) de nuestro programa PAWS (Promoción del Bienestar y la Seguridad de Animales) a través de la lectura. ¡Venga a conocer nuestro nuevo refugio de animales y disfrute aprendiendo sobre la tenencia responsable de mascotas y la compasión por los animales con su familia!

Los niños menores de 10 años tendrán la oportunidad de asistir a la hora del cuento. Nuestro personal les dará la bienvenida y les leerá dos cuentos sobre la conexión entre los animales y las personas. Después de la hora del cuento, habrá tiempo para el arte y una merienda.

Es necesario inscribirse debido al espacio limitado. Para que asista el mayor número posible de niños, le pedimos que solo haya un adulto acompañante por familia; los niños no deben quedarse solos.
