Seating Information

Please note, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad requires guests to reserve seats by the bench for this excursion. Each bench accommodates two guests. This means for parties of odd numbers, an even number of seats must be selected at checkout. A family of three, for example, would select four seats on two benches, which can be turned to face each other on the train.

Coaches and Pricing

First Class Coach Tickets: $40 per person

Experience our beautifully restored 1925 day-coaches, complete with upholstered seats, turn-of-the-century ambiance and year-round climate control. Please note the first-class coaches are NOT wheelchair accessible.

Touring Class Coach Tickets: $35 per person

Our 1927 coaches offer an authentic railroad traveling experience with modern conveniences. Coaches are climate-controlled with wooden bench-style seating and floor-to-ceiling windows. These coaches are wheelchair accessible.

Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on all Grapevine Vintage Railroad excursions. Tickets are required for all passengers who have celebrated their first birthday. Lap child tickets ($5 each) are required for those who have not celebrated their first birthday. 

Check-in Information

Check in at least 30 minutes before your reserved ticketed time (departure time). Train doors close 10 minutes prior to departure. We cannot hold trains for late arrivals and passengers will not be allowed to board after doors are closed. Missed trains will not be refunded. Please give yourself extra time to park and get to Grapevine’s Christmas Village (no shuttle service available). Arrive early to take your photo with Santa prior to your North Pole Express excursion inside the North Pole Express General Store (701 S. Main St.).

Staying past Christmas? Enjoy one of the After Christmas Trains, which travel from Grapevine to the Historic Stockyards Station in Fort Worth, December 26-30, 2022, departing at 12:50 p.m. All coaches will still be beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.
