North Pole Express 2021

Experience the magic of Christmas on board Grapevine Vintage Railroad’s North Pole Express^®. Join Mrs. Claus on a holiday adventure as she takes her guests to find Santa and bring him to the Christmas Capital of Texas^®. Guests will learn about the magic of Christmas, receive a cookie baked in Mrs. Claus’s North Pole kitchens, a beautiful “We Believe” bell, and a taste of Santa’s Frosty Chocolate Snow Milk (served in a keepsake Memory Mug).

Coaches and Pricing

First Class Coach Tickets: $40 per person

 Experience our beautifully restored 1925 day-coaches, complete with upholstered seats, turn of the century ambiance and year-round climate control. NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE.

Tickets required for all passengers who have celebrated their first birthday. Lap child tickets ($5.00 each) required for those who have not celebrated their first birthday.

Touring Class Coach Tickets: $35 per person

Our 1927 coaches offer an authentic railroad travel experience, but with some modern conveniences. Coaches are climate-controlled with wooden bench-style seating and floor-to-ceiling windows. WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE

Grapevine Vintage Railroad (GVRR) strongly encourages our guests to purchase tickets for this event in even numbers to prevent other guests being seated with your party.  All of our coaches are equipped with bench-style seating, designed to accommodate two guests.  Because of the nature of this event, we will be seating the train to maximize the available seating. Guests purchasing tickets in odd numbers will find a member from another party seated with them, or will have a family member seated with another party.

Check in at least 30 minutes before your reserved ticketed time (departure time). Train doors close 10 minutes prior to departure. We cannot hold trains for late arrivals and passengers will not be allowed to board after doors are closed. Missed trains will not be refunded. Please give yourself extra time to park and get to Grapevine’s Christmas Village (No shuttle service available).

Arrive early to take your photo with Santa prior to your North Pole Express excursion inside the North Pole Express General Store (701 S. Main St.).

Tickets are non-refundable.

Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on all Grapevine Vintage Railroad excursions.
