Grapevine Bear Creek Excursion 2025

PARKING ALERT: Please note that Main Street Fest - A Timeless Texas Tradition, presented by Bank of the West is taking place Saturday, May 17, 2025. Parking and overall demand within Historic Downtown Grapevine are increased during this time, so please plan accordingly to ensure you have enough time to park and catch your excursion. During Main Street Fest, follow the signs to designated parking areas throughout Grapevine. GVRR guests will use your mobile or printed tickets to enter the festival grounds. You will not need to purchase festival admission. The closest entrance to the depot is the south festival gate near the intersection of Dallas Rd. and Main St.

All aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad!

Step back in time with a nostalgic ride on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad! This 90-minute excursion departs the Cotton Belt Depot in Grapevine. The entire family will enjoy this true railroad experience. Don’t let your day in Grapevine end with the train ride! Explore Grapevine’s rich history on Historic Main Street and visit unique shops, restaurants and other cultural attractions.

Grapevine Bear Creek Short Line Schedule

This excursion will operate Saturday mornings except during our Summer run(June 13-August 8), when it will operate Friday mornings
Boarding: 10:20 a.m.
Train doors close: 10:35 a.m.
Departs Grapevine: 10:40 a.m.
Arrives in Grapevine: 12:10 p.m.

Pricing:

First Class:  $12
Coaches are heated and air-conditioned with embroidered upholstered seats.

Touring Class:  $11
This coach has floor-to-ceiling windows with padded bench-style seats and are climate-controlled for year-round comfort.

Economy Class: $10
This coach is open air in the warmer months and enclosed and heated during the colder months with padded bench-style seats and floor-to-ceiling views. - NO AIR-CONDITIONING - This coach is currently open-air from late April to late October.

Passengers 13 months and older must purchase a ticket. Tickets are non-refundable.

This excursion does not travel to the Stockyards in Fort Worth.
