General Admission
Tickets $13

Friday Night Funnies is a new bi-monthly comedy series featuring local comedians for a family- friendly night of laughs. The inaugural night of laughs includes Shed G, Johnny Elbow, MJ Moody, CJ Starr, Linda Stogner and Barry Whitewater.

The Palace Arts Center continues to make the safety and security of its patrons a priority. In addition to reduced venue capacity, increased sanitization efforts between shows and in public areas are in effect, and touchless hand sanitizing stations have been placed in public areas for added convenience.

We are currently operating at 75% occupancy or 328 guests. Movie tickets are general admission and everyone social distances themselves.

While masks are no longer a requirement, we highly recommend them.

About Shed "Shed G" Dallas
In 2012, Shed Dallas began his radio career joining the award-winning Morning Show on KMOJ 89.9 FM in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He provided the necessary elements for maximum entertainment value. Dallas conducted live interviews, comedy skits, writing public service announcement scripts and public appearances.

In 2015, he moved to The Afternoon Drive Show where he conducted live remote broadcasting, local and state news reporting and entertainment news correspondence with comedic support.

Now a resident of the Metroplex, Dallas performs regularly as a standup comic and looks forward to showcasing his work at the Historic Palace Theatre!

About Johnny Elbow
Johnny Elbow’s act centers around family life and is broadly relatable - and yet still unique. It's this style of stand-up that stood out to talent scouts from NBC's Last Comic Standing, where he made his network television debut. With a background in improvisation, he knows how to make every show feel fresh. Elbow lives in Dallas with his wife and two young daughters, who are responsible for most of his material and headaches.

About MJ Moody
MJ Moody is originally from Augusta, Georgia and got his start in comedy after retiring from the US Navy. With his prior military experience and family, he never runs out of material.

Moody has performed at venues such as Addison Improv Comedy Club, House of Blues, The Kessler Theater, New York Comedy Club and is a regular at the Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub. In 2016, he was voted a semi-finalist for the funniest comic in Texas.

He has opened for Steven Michael Quezada (Breaking Bad), Dante (Last Comic Standing), Dean Edwards (SNL) and Chris Kattaan (SNL). Moody believes laughter heals the soul, brings us all closer together and is needed in times like these because “We all get Moody.” J

About CJ Starr
CJ Starr was raised in the Midwest, but his comedy was born in Texas. His comedy continues to make all crowds laugh about the things that make him win step-dad of the year and what happens to a man in his mid-40s as he tries to figure out what he wants to do when he grows up. Starr’s comedy can relate to any audience as he makes fun of his upbringing, his bi-racial marriage, family, kids, stereotypes and 10 years of community college. His comedy, like his fans, is very versatile with folks from every walk of life.

Starr was picked to perform at the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival and Gilda’s LaughFest the past three years and has also appeared four times on “Laughs” on FOX network. He continues to expand his comedic talent as a writer for Apple TV and actor for the upcoming web series “Giggle-Lows.” He currently has a podcast called “Dad Bodies of Comedy” where he interviews comedians and anybody else that can give a great story tokeep the fans laughing.

About Linda Stogner
Emmy Award-Winning stand-up comic and filmmaker, Linda Stogner, is a definite original. Her zany imagination, storytelling skills and unique point of view have earned her comedy honors, such as 2019 Funniest Female Comic in the Heartland, 2014 Funniest Comic in Texas, several Emmys and two Gold Medals at the New York Festivals for her short films. She was a semi-finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition and the Boston Comedy Festival. She performed at the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, 2015 – 2017. She also performed on the Joan Rivers Funniest Woman in America special. She has worked with Dave Chappelle, Arsenio Hall, Brian Regan, Elayne Boosler, Kathleen Madigan, Rob Delaney, Bruce Bruce and many more. In her stand-up act, Stogner talks about her unusual childhood, being on America's Most Wanted, counting sheep, trains and bad bird singers. Joan Rivers said, "Her mind is cracked – very funny!"
