Climb aboard Santa’s North Pole Express, where Christmas dreams come to life and joyful memories are made!
Begin your merry adventure in the heart of Grapevine, where the Historic Cotton Belt District is transformed into the charming Grapevine Christmas Village.
The magic begins as you enter Santa’s North Pole Express boarding experience where passengers are immersed in the mesmerizing North Pole lights. Santa’s Elves, Jingle and Twinkle, will greet you and let you in on the secret of the “We Believe” silver bells before embarking on the 45-minute excursion.
Once aboard the train, you’ll be wrapped in the warmth of holiday cheer, surrounded by Classic Christmas decorations, cozy vintage coaches, and friendly elves Frosty and Holly. The Santa’s North Pole Express ticket includes Christmas singalongs, special moments with Santa and Mrs. Claus and their favorite Christmas treats: Mrs. Claus’ Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookie and Frosty Chocolate Snow Milk in a souvenir memory mug.
Your ticket includes a single 4x6 photo with Santa at the General Store. You can schedule your session in advance or go after your excursion.
Price: $80 per bench which seats two people. ($40 per person) Anyone who has celebrated their first birthday will need to purchase a ticket.

The excursions after Christmas will have the full Santa’s North Pole Express experience.
Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on all Grapevine Vintage Railroad excursions. Tickets are required for all passengers who have celebrated their first birthday. Lap child tickets ($6 each) are required for those who have not celebrated their first birthday.
Seats are purchased by the bench. Each bench seats two people.
Check-in Information
Check-in at least 30 minutes before your reserved ticketed time (departure time). Train doors close 10 minutes prior to departure. We cannot hold trains for late arrivals and passengers will not be allowed to board after doors are closed. Missed trains will not be refunded. The Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau recommends arriving 1.5 hours ahead of ticketed time on weekends, or one hour prior to ticketed time during the week, to find parking and enjoy the Christmas Capital of Texas. Arrive early to take your photo with Santa prior to your North Pole Express excursion inside the General Store (701 S. Main St.).
